Assistant Professor Kağan Topallı has participated in the 6th International Conference on Recent Advances in Space Technologies held in İstanbul on June 12-14, 2013 and presented a research paper entitled “A Compact Filter using Substrate Integrated Waveguide Technology”.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Özgün participated in “META’13, the 4th International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic Crystals and Plasmonics” held on 16 – 24 March 2013 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She organized a special invited session on “Novel applications of transformation electromagnetics”, and presented a research paper entitled “Transformation Electromagnetics for Efficient Solution of Rough Surface Scattering Problems by Finite Methods”.

Assistant Professor Kağan Topallı has participated in the 13th International Symposium on RF MEMS and RF Microsystems-MEMSWAVE 2012 held in Antalya on July, 2-4, 2012 with a presentation.

Assistant Professor Tolga İnan received METU Thesis of the Year Award with his PhD Thesis entitled "3D Face Recognition with Local Shape Descriptors" in METU on June 6, 2012.
