Prof. Dr. Can Baran Aktaş has been selected to “The World List of Sustainability Researchers”, prepared by the “Inter-University Sustainable Development Research Programme” (IUSDRP). Dr. Aktaş is also included in the global ranking of researchers by academic publications, and was the only researcher from Turkey to be listed in this ranking.
Our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Can Baran Aktaş has been selected to “The World List of Sustainability Researchers”, prepared by the “Inter-University Sustainable Development Research Programme” (IUSDRP) located under the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg).
The list aims to combine and showcase the scientific profile, interests, and academic achievements of sustainability researchers around the world. The “Inter-University Sustainable Development Research Programme (IUSDRP)” aims to contribute to the efforts of partner universities to consolidate their sustainable development initiatives in various ways. The program is dedicated to quality research on sustainable development, considering the great progress made in the field of sustainable development worldwide since "Our Common Future" in 1987 and the Rio Summits, and at a time when the United Nations continues its efforts to achieve the "Sustainable Development Goals". IUSDRP was formed with the thought that quality research on sustainable development will be needed more than ever before.
